Course Objective 本課程目的為深入研究非地面通訊網路（NTN）的相關技術和應用。課程將首先介紹NTN的基本概念，包括其定義、特點以及在通訊領域中的角色。接著，將深入研究NTN網路的架構和應用，使學生了解NTN在不同場景中的實際應用情境。課程亦將探討3GPP對NTN網路的規劃和進展，使學生瞭解NTN在國際通訊標準中的地位與發展趨勢。此外，課程還將介紹不同類型的NTN，包括各種型態的應用範疇和特點。而隨著5G的發展，課程也將討論NTN在B5G/6G系統中的應用和相關標準化。學生將了解NTN如何融入未來通訊網路的發展趨勢，以應對更高效、更智能的通訊需求。最後，課程將深入討論NTN的重要議題，包括安全性、效能優化和未來發展方向等方面。透過課程，學生將獲得對NTN技術全面且深入的理解，並具備應用和解決相關議題的能力。 This course explores the technologies and applications of Non-Terrestrial Communication Networks (NTN). Starting with the basics, it introduces NTN's definition, characteristics, and role in communication. This course then investigates NTN network architecture and applications, offering practical insights. The course also covers 3GPP's planning for NTN networks, understanding NTN's global position and development trends. Different NTN types and their characteristics are introduced, along with discussions on NTN's applications in B5G/6G systems within the context of 5G development. The course concludes with an in-depth discussion on key NTN issues, including security, performance optimization, and future directions. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of NTN technology and the capability to address relevant issues.

Course Schedule 與經濟部產業發展署之太空產業供應鏈暨網通產業新星飛揚計畫合作，以相關領域大三以上學生為對象，導入國內產業師資，依照課程架構學習指引，提供低軌衛星地面設備相關基礎知識或企業實務專題分享第一~五週非地面通訊系統導論介紹UAV, NTN以及LEO/MEO/GEO 之通訊架構以及產業發展第六~十五週與經濟部產業署之太空產業供應鏈暨網通產業新星飛揚計畫搭配邀請業界師資親自授課分享與交流第一手產業技術與訊息第十六~十八週分組作專題報告(NTN or LEO)

Evaluation and grading policy 平時成績(含出席率): (10%) 心得報告 (40%) 業師上課之心得報告(1~4頁) 期末專題 (50%) 選擇NTN or LEO 之相關主體做分組專題第18周星期五前需繳交口頭報告投影片與書面報告
