Course Objective 配合顯微組織學課程，使學生從實際顯微組織觀察中，依據相圖的理論觀念，分析和判斷材料的基本特徵。藉由應用顯微鏡設備，結合試片製作與處理的技術，從事試片構造的觀察，據此作為熱處理物件之分析，塑性加工或鑄件之研判，是為本課程的訓練目的。實習內容含括影片教學，熱電偶之測定與應用，熱分析法、以及試片的製作與處理等實作練習。 This course is to introduce Microstructure Practices.It focus on the purpose of material testing, the structure of material testing equipment, and the operation method, its content covers tensile, bending, compression, impact and various hardness test equipment, let student fully aware of operation method, to the extent of skillfulness, and it matches other curriculums to judge the specifics of the analytic materials

Course Schedule 開學第一週介紹顯微與材料試驗室。第二週至第六週進行課堂上課，之後，全班分成8小組（上，下半組各4小組）。第7，8，10 ，11週，，上半組做材料試驗，下半組做顯微組織試驗。第12，13，14 ，15週，上半組改做顯微組織試驗，下半組改做材料試驗。顯微組織試驗進度如下： 1.快速切割機練習切割式樣，2.熱鑲埋（Hot Mounting）式樣製作， 3.冷鑲埋（Cold Mounting）式樣製作，4.標準試片觀察，5.火花試驗。材料試驗進度如下： 1.拉力試驗。2.衝擊試驗。3.硬度試驗。第16週期末考第17週繳交期末報告（補做失敗試驗）第18週補考並繳交期末成績

Evaluation and grading policy 平時成績20%（出缺席及上課態度）報告成績50%（word標準格式，至少一千字，期末亦需繳交試驗完成的式樣）期末考試30%（分成顯微組織與材料試驗兩部分聯合考試）註：顯微組織部分另加考設備操作與口試試驗流程說明。
