Course Objective 材料表面處理是各種製造工業不可或缺的過程，不論是傳統的工業或現代的高科技產業，表面處理都一直扮演著極重要的角色。本課程主要是對表面處理技術在理論基礎，方法與應用等方面的講述，以期培養學生的興趣與專業的知識。課程內容包括表面處理技術的基本理論，前處理技術，各種表面處理的方法與相關知識，以及各種表面處理技術的應用等項目。

Course Schedule 每單元約上一至二週一、材料表面處理定義及應用。二、表面處理技術之分類-濕式、乾式技術及薄膜、厚膜技術。三、熱力學及動力學之回顧。四、Thin Film Technology。五、Physical Vapor Deposition (Sputtering、 Ion Implantation)。六、Chemical Vapor Deposition & PECVD。期中考七、Thick Film Technology。八、Electroplating。九、Electroless Plating。十、Anodizing 、Electro-forming。十一、Hard facing Coating。十二、Laser surface Treatment。十三、滲碳、電解淬火等硬質表面處理技術。。十四、VCD數位教學。期末報告或期末考一次

Evaluation and grading policy 評分標準：期中考40%、期末報告或期末考一次40%、平時及Paper Reading成績 20%
