Description Cloud Computing is a new model for enabling convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction. Practically, Cloud Computing is new frontier of Internet Computing and next generation Data Centers. This course covers Networking Fundamentals (including TCP/IP); Client/Server and Intranet Computing; Cloud Computing: An Overview; Core Technologies of Cloud Computing; Cloud Service Models; Multi-tenancy Control, Cloud Application Architecture: Hadoop: HDFS, Hbase, MapReduce; Security, Privacy and Trust Management Issues for Cloud Computing; Developing Strategies in Cloud Computing; and Conclusion. In summary, the teaching goal of this course is to provide students with the full understanding in technologies trend, applications development, and services management of Cloud Computing.
