| This course aims to introduce the practical aspects of intellectual property litigation in Japan, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and unfair competition. Students will learn the fundamental knowledge, procedures, and key points of Japanese intellectual property litigation, as well as relevant precedents and examples, covering the legal system, adjudication system, and litigation procedures. Students will explore the evidence of patent infringement, invalidation proceedings, and practical issues in patent litigation, and discuss the key points and procedures of intellectual property litigation such as trademark, copyright, and unfair competition. Through this course, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of Japanese intellectual property litigation, grasp its procedures and key points, and be able to apply relevant knowledge and skills in practice.
