Description This course explores the theories of Assisted Living Facilities (ALF) for health care, especially for people with mild and moderate cognitive decline. The application of user needs study and theories of usability on services and products will accommodate the diversity of user base, while supports a broad range of hardware, software, and service network on health care. Issues on Assisted Living Facilities (ALF) will be discussed in order to generate initiatives in response to unmet needs, and then accommodate differences among various user groups. Students are required to study selected literature and present in seminar discussion group.
