6805067 Graduate On-Site Research 3.0 18
Description The main purpose of this course is to promote an all-round ability for the graduate students. During either the summer/winter break or the regular semester term, graduate students are required to go to the organizations or agencies with respect to their research topics by undergoing the on site research. The course takers will need to stay in the same individual organization or agency for no less than 320 hours. After the students finish the course requirements, these organizations will offer them certificates -- or proof of any kind -- in accordance with their performance on site. The students will also need to present to the thesis advisor the on-site research documents - which will be collected in the departmental or graduate institute office, showing what they have learned and accomplished with this work/research experience. The grading principle will be equivalently decided by the thesis advisor (50%) and the on-site organizations or agencies (50%), respectively.
