6505122 Nonlinear fiber optics and application 3.0 3
Description Fiber laser and amplifier have been widely used in various fields. Due to its small core and relative long propagation length of fiber and relative large power and peak power light source is used, that is generated from mode-locked technique and amplifier, various nonlinear optical phenomena can be observed through propagation of the fiber. Recently, many novel optical fibers including the microstructured fiber or termed photonic crystal fiber are widely used to cause the advance of the generated nonlinear phenomena. In this course, it will introduce the principle of the generated nonlinear effects and its applications.
