| Because of the tightened regulation enacted by many countries, advanced drinking water treatment technology has been the research focus all around the world. In addition, in Taiwan, water resource, including surface and ground water, are seriously polluted due to industrial discharge and low sewerage system connection ratio. Traditional treatment processes, such as coagulation, sedimentation, filtration, are not enough for water purification for these deterioraated raw water gualities. Therefoore, this class will offer the opportunity to improve the knowledge for advanced drinking water treatment technology, including reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, ozone disinfection, GAC adsorption, and me.
