| This course covers the following topics: introduction to discrete-time linear systems, review of solutions to difference equations, finding impulse response of a discrete-time system, linear convolution, review of continuous-time and discrete-time Fourier transform, sampling and aliasing, reconstruction and interpolation, DFT and FFT, spectral estimation, introduction to z-transform, poles and zeros, design of FIR filters, design of IIR filters, issues of finite word-length, and introduction to multi-rate signal processing.
