||Advanced Innovative Design (I) educates students to identify and resolve design problems - innovatively and with sensitivity to the social, physical and ecological environment. Students learn to analyze and solve diverse design problems from technical, aesthetic, social and ecological viewpoints. Students are given the resources to identify, expand and test personal and professional development through an intensive exploration of design ideas. Innovation is stressed, along with the ability to refine formal design issues. There are numerous opportunities for students to work with industry through corporate-sponsored studio projects and design competitions.
