Description This course aims to introduce various translation practices in the digital age and to familiarize students with appropriate translation methods and strategies. The topics covered in this course include translation and technology, online collaborative translation, advertising/marketing translation, tourism translation and localization. Translation exercises and authentic translation projects will be arranged throughout the course to enable students to apply their theoretical knowledge to actual translation tasks.
