| Due to the lack of systematic research work carried out in Taiwan, it is difficult to find out the problems of the current disaster prevention plans for the cultural heritage. Taiwan has many existing vestiges and relics from Japanese colonial period at the moment. Despite the fact that there are numerous excellent examples of disaster prevention plans in Japan for us to consult and to research, little systematic work regarded the subject can be found in the literature in our own country.
