Description A huge impact on the human environment occurred by the recent abnormal global climate change. Taiwan locates in one of the most frequent natural disasters areas, architectural and planning professionals are required to develop the disaster prevention and rescue knowledge and profession as soon as possible. The course aims to enhance the ability of architecture and urban planning profession, and understand how environmental change and disaster prevention can be integrated into the planning and design knowledge and training. With the perspective of regional life community to explore disaster management and reconstruction, disaster mitigation of architecture and land use planning, disaster prevention rescue system, environmental changes and derivative issues, resource allocation, compound disaster impact and response to climate changes of the adaptation strategies and mechanism, post-disaster resettlement, industrial recovery and community reconstruction through domestic and international
