Description In Human History, each civilization would develop its construction system, which might be influenced by the physic environment and the technics it requests. In similar or different construction systems, it would derive into different aspects and ways of combination in the spatial forms and constructive d?tails, due to the inner or outer conditions, such as different cultural forms, materials and aesthetics, etc. This seminar bases on the architectural history of different civilizations, from Greek, Roman, Gothic epochs, to the post industrial r?volution of the Nineteenth Century and Twentieth Century. We would like to study the aspect and aesthetic through the ancient architecture of mason construction to those modern or modernist architecture of different materials such as iron, steel, or reinforced concrete, etc.
