Description This course is an introduction to the historical study and academic writing on architecture. The main body relates to theories and methods concerning with historical study and the possible application in architecture. It aims at the establishment of a analytical vision and the ability in academic writing in doing research of architectural history. Three parts are concluded: 1. Defining the meaning of 'History'. 2. Exploring the theories of historical studies and research methodologies. 3. Analyzing the structure of remarkable articles on 'architecture history'.
