| This course is aimed at showing students how to solve complicate mathematical or engineering problems with the aid of computer. Both theoretical and practical topics will be included. The final grade will be based on 4 to 5 numerical homeworks.

(2) Initial-Value Problems for Ordinary Differential Equations
(3) Iterative Techniques in Matrix Algebra
(4) Approximating Eigenvalues
(5) Numerical Solutions of Nonlinear Systems of Equations.
(6) Numerical Solutions to Partial-Differential Equations.
