4505704 Computer-Aided Analysis on Energy ad Thermofluid Sciences 3.0 3
Description This course is suitable for the graduate students who have taken fundamental courses of engineering mathematics and thermofluid sciences. The objective of this course is to apply Matlab and CFD packages to analyze the problems related to energy and thermofluid sciences. Case study is the focus of this course. Course contents mainly include the application of numerical methods on solving boundary-layer problems, analyzing steady and transient heat conduction problems, and 2-D lid-driven flow problems by finite difference method. Case study covers room air flow motion, clean room simulation, heat exchanger performance, electronic cooling, thermal ice storage system and hydrogen energy, etc.
