| This course is intended to introduce the technology of building environmental control systems and ecological building in the sense of integrated planning. This course offers encyclopedic coverage of fundamentals, rules of thumb, and detailed design procedures. This course emphasizes the concepts, system planning, facilities management, comparison of system costs and efficiencies, energy considerations, space requirements and technology needed to integrated the heating, cooling, natural ventilation, electricity, water supply, plumping, fire protection, transportation and lighting into building's structure and design.
