4236092 Introduction of Ecohydrology 3.0 3
Description Overview of the hydrologic cycle; atmospheric, surface and subsurface water; water balance dynamics. Climate, soil and vegetation; active role of ecosystems in hydrologic processes; ecosystem responses to hydrologic stress. Therefore this course will introduce biophysics which includes canopy structure, radiant fluxes, turbulent fluxes, thermal energy balance, and water balance, and Darwinian ecology which includes optimal canopy conductance, optimal bioclimate, natural habitats and climax communities, netprimary productivity and ecotones.
