| The Soil Erosion and Conservation course delves into the types, causes, impacts, and prevention methods of soil erosion. Students will learn about various types of soil erosion, the factors that lead to their occurrence, and the protective strategies that can be adopted. The course specifically focuses on water erosion, exploring the importance of rainfall distribution, soil properties, topographic factors, and surface vegetation cover. Additionally, policies and programs designed to promote soil conservation will be introduced. Through this course, students will gain an understanding of the principles of soil erosion and conservation. They will possess the knowledge and skills necessary to develop and implement effective protective strategies in various environments. Furthermore, this course will serve as a course for our university to realize the core value of university social responsibility (USR).
