4205084 Introduction to Random Vibration and Time-Frequency-Domain Analysis 3.0 3
Description This course is designed to introduce the basics of random vibration, spectral and wavelet analysis. The schedule includes those topics such as fundamental theories of statistics, definition of random signals, expectation and correlation functions, Fourier transform and F.F.T., power spectral density, spectral analysis, non-stationarity judgement, and basic theories of wavelet analysis. To harmony with Dynamics of Structures, this course also introduces examples of dynamic analysis of structural systems excited by random loadings in the frequency domain and applications of wavelet analysis.
