| Information and network technologies have promoted the traditional concurrent engineering to the next generation. The collaborative e-design and e-development concept has been more popular in industries. This course is introduced from the concept of collaborative product design and development to help students understanding the importance of collaborative e-design and e-development in modern industries. Furthermore, the business model analysis method is provided to construct the collaborative environment of e-design and e-development. In addition, some real cases of data management, configuration management, and workflow management are mentioned.
