Description The aim of this course is to present the concepts and methods of precision measurements with laser. It may be implements by several "hand-on" projects such as laser modes and energy profile measurement, laser Doppler anemometry (LDA), optical diffractive element (ODE), optical fibre sensor, optical detectors, linear array and 2-D CCD, Fabry-perot and Michelson interferometry, optical testing, and the measurements of length, thickness, strain, pressure, temperature, etc using optical methods.
