Description | The purpose of the course is to provide students of fundamental concepts, techniques and applications of optics in an Opto-Electronic integrated system. It may include the theories of geometric options, the propagation of laser beam, the diffraction and interference of light, the characteristics of coherence and polarization, the effects of the Electro-Optic, Magneto-optic modulation, the optical properties of waveguide and optic-fibre, and the applications of optical fibre sensor. |
