| World Heritage is a term applied to sites of outstanding universal natural or cultural significance to the common heritage of humanity. The World Heritage List maintained by the international World Heritage Programme administered by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee. As of 2008, 878 sites are listed: 678 cultural, 174 natural, and 26 mixed properties, in 145 states. This course hope to introduce the idea, system and case of the World Heritage. And to help student to understand and enjoy the scenic spots belong to all the peoples of the world.
