| This course is mainly to teach students the cognition of the experience and connotation of urban space, and to equip students with the basic ability and relevant knowledge of urban design. The main teaching contents are as follows: 1. In terms of scope-mainly discuss the connotation and essence of the city Elements, natural environment and human dimension. 2. In theory-mainly discuss the basic spatial theories of urban formation such as ground, connection and place theories. 3. In terms of methods - from the management of community residents, the discussion of urban design procedures to the application of multi-design procedures. 4. In practice—Taking Taipei City and Kaohsiung New Town as examples, discuss relevant cases and read the meaning of design guidelines.
