Description The Modern Movement of Architecture leads the development of new architecture, it thus deduce a whole new possibility of architecture. The Industrial Revolution is the motor of the whole movement. The building construction is industrialized under this overall influence to the society, not only on the concentration of capitals. The social life has been changed. Nineteenth Century is a struggling period with European tradition, moving forward to a new imagination, on the development of construction material, technics, also on the breakthrough on the spatial concept. This evolution on architecture influences architectural education of 20th Century, and feeds the new creation of architecture. This course is to understand this historic evolution and context, to understand the source and establish knowledge in face of their future architectural activities.
