Description This course is organized, as a three-year's program that is arranged around a pattern of six semesters. The modular teaching structure is:1. First year - An introduction to basic design problem solving : concepts of point, line, plane, and space organization : principles of unity/variety ,order ,balance , proportion ,scale , etc.; orthographic projection and axonometrics ; pattern diagramming ; and basic design consequences of human activity. The course as the fundamental of architectural design aims to foster basic knowledge from the perspective of architectural aesthetics, experience, and design execution. Combined with the lateral curriculum of construction, drawing, design theory, and housing renewal projects, the program built upon diversified exposures in 1. aesthetics, 2. architectural drawings and rendering techniques, 3. spatial constructs and logics, 4.
