| The course objective is to introduce students about systematic analysis of production systems and how to formulate and implement a strategic plan of manufacturing systems.
The topics such as manufacturing outputs, classification of production systems, levers for changing productions systems, selecting the best production system, framework for formulating manufacturing strategy, developing the implementation plan, and integrating with business strategy etc. will be covered. Software tools, video cases will be supplemented.
