Description The objective of this course is to help students build up the problem-solving abilities. The course will begin from the introduction of different quantity methods in multi-criteria decision-making problems (MCDM). The categories of MCDM and their applicable problems are then presented. Students can learn different decision making tools through lectures, discussion, assignments, term-projects and examinations. The main methods include AHP, ANP, TOPSIS, VIKOR, DEMATEL, Gray Relation Methods, Fuzzy Integral, Fuzzy Set Theory, Rough Set Theory, Compromised Solutions and the ideas of De Novo. At the end of the course, students should have the skills when they face MCDM problems.
