Description | The purpose of this course is to introduce the mechanical behavior and its application of the musculoskeletal system and component tissues when physical work is performed. The lectures cover:anatomy/strength of biomaterials/muscle physiology, anthropometry, spine biomechanics, static biomechanical models and NIOSH lifting equation, bioinstrumentation and dynamic biomechanical models, hand tool design, and computer simulation of biomechanics. |
