| The course is designed to introduce in staple, filament and composite yarns manufacturing systems, which include manufacturing process, spinning mechanism and end applications. Furthermore, the course is structured towards an advanced study of the newer methods of yarn manufacture, and the latest developments in processing control and quality control, computerized control systems and automatic measuring systems. Relationships between fiber and yarn structural properties are also discussed.
