Description
| This course discusses the principle and applications of cell
culture and molecular biology. The course covers the following
topics: (1) characteristics of microbial, plant, insect, and
mammalian cells; (2) cell culture in bioreactors, including
descriptions of bioreactor types, operation modes, bioreactor
kinetics, and instrumentation and control; (3) expression of
foreign genes in various cell systems; (4) case studies, such as
production of monoclonal antibody, biopolymers, and gene
therapy vectors.
