| The laboratory sections in this course are designed to have student obtain hand-on experiences of various materials syntheses processing operations. Six experiments will be carried out in a semester including:
1. Synthesis of BaTiO3 powders by solid-state reaction
2. Preparation of thin film by chemical vapor deposition
3. Synthesis of ZnO powders by precipitation reaction
4. Synthesis of SiO2 by sol-gel reaction
5. Synthesis of TiO2 nanoparticles by microemulsion method
6. Synthesis of Au nanoparticles by oxidation-reduction reaction
