| The course is to lecture the principle and technique of making ferrous products, its
content is divided into two parts, one is the refining of pig iron, the other is the
refining of steel. The former one is to describe the reduction reaction of ferrous
mine, and the thermal dynamics principle and application of a blast furnace, the
technique development of a blast furnace operation as well. The latter one is to
describe the metallurgical thermal dynamics principle of steel making, and to describe the smelting techniquesof the converter with pure oxgen infusing from upper part or bottom, electric furnace, open hearth.
