Description This course provides a comprehensive introduction to principles of electrochemistry and its applications. In the principles which includes ionic interaction, ionic equilibrium, the conducting properties of electrolytes, interfacial phenomena, electrode potentials, electrochemical cells and electrode kinetic process. For the application covers determination of physical parameters in the solutions, electroanalytical techniques, electroplating, electrochemical sensors, surface finishing, metal corrosion prevention, cells, electrodialysis, and electrosynthesis etc.
