Description Throughout human history, even prior to written record, various types of warfare and scales of battles have existed for various purposes of domination or survival by all means of cruelty and destruction. The arousal of violent conflicts might be an attempt at fighting for territorial dominion or material resources economically or altering another species ideologically. In today's modern societies, bountiful documentaries and films concerning historical warfare have been accumulated. This course will aim at giving students a broad understanding and profound knowledge of the causes, process, and effects of significant warfare in human history with the aid of visual images in different media.
