| The course introduces some famous and important readings in Chinese history. It lets the students not only study some famous readings but also learn the fine personalities and the great achievements of the authors but also realize the backgrounds of their times. Besides, the historical works written by the foreigners are discussed in the course so that the students can compare the differences between the East and the West. In addition to gaining rich historical knowledge and sources, it is our hope that the students can widen their international field of view and realize the value of lives.
