Description This subject, one of the courses of General Education, aims to analyze the educational issues of an "Open Society" from System Theory perspective. The analysis can be carried out in two ways:first, from macro-viewpoint, it means to study the influences and interrelation that different social institution and policies such as economy, politics, stratification, information, religion, etc. have exerted on education. second, from micro-viewpoint, it analyzes the influences of the whole society on every aspects of education such as education objective, school style, role of teachers, learning of students, participation of parents, etc.Through the programme of this course, we hope to illustrate the fact that the contemporary open society and education are reciprocal factors and conditions of changes.
