| This course is designed particularly for non-Spanish major college students. It is intended to provide them with a basic understanding on a second foreign language (Spanish), and, consequently improve their learning capability. Emphasis is placed on listening, speaking and writing of Spanish, one of the European languages, as well as the folklore, people, tradition and economic development of Spain. Lectures are given to teach pronunciation of Spanish alphabets, basic Spanish grammar and then conversation with the help of audio/video tapes.
