| Description
| This course will guide students to approach English literary works through a selected reading of short and medium-length fiction which focuses on the interaction between literature and society. It is hoped that by making use of the new critical thinking that has swept through literary criticism in recent years, technological students will understand how to read a novel, how to respond to, interpret and develop their own views of a novel. Students are expected to do all the assigned reading before class and actively participate in classroom discussion.
