| The course is to equip students with the ability to understand and appreciate Chinese Art. Contents: 1.Architecture: including the architecture of palace, temple, emperor's mausoleum, residence, as well as famous gardens in China. 2.Wares: such as jade objects of China, gold and silver ware, ceramics and porcelain, cement ware, lacquer ware, ivory,bamboo, etc. 3.Sculpture: introducing clay statute of Buddha, ware, and appreciating the beauty and expression of art. 4.Painting: introducing the history of Chinese painting, master painters, and various painting; analyzing the making of a sketch of a painting, stroking, and inking, of landscape, flower-bird works, figure painting, and animal painting.
