| The objective of intelligent manufacturing is to reduce manufacturing cost using information technology including digital control, industrial Robotics, automated inspection, cloud computing, business intelligence, and internet of thing (IOT).
This integration allows individual component to exchange information with each other, and manufacturers have the ability to create automated manufacturing processes. In this course, students could learn the basic principle of automation, application of industrial robots, IoT and RFID applications, manufacturing execution system, and lean production.
