| The course develops theoretical framework for understanding and analyzing major financial problems of modern company in market environment. The course covers basic models of valuation of corporate capital, including pricing models for primary financial assets, real assets valuation and investment projects analysis, capital structure and various types of corporate capital employed, derivative assets and contingent claims on assets. Furthermore, the major goal of this course is to help students understanding the basic principles and theories of investments. It can give students the skills to conduct a sophisticated assessment on investment decisions. Through the learning of this course, prompting investors to be able to obtain a reasonable return on investment or beat the market, ahead of the performance of each Fund, in order to work out the correct short and long term investment decisions.
