Description This class will first help students familiarize themselves with the data mining techniques, including classification, estimation, prediction, affinity grouping, clustering, among others. Subsequently, the big data analytics will be introduced and its potential applications in the manufacturing, retail and service industries will be investigated. This course will also focus on understanding the relationship between enterprise and customers, and enhancing business profit through customer satisfaction and loyalty. The customer behavior, customer data mining, implemetation of customer relationship management(CRM) system, planning and management of CRM projects and real world practical cases will be discussed.
