| The course objective is to introduce students about key principles of project management and the use of project scheduling software. This course discusses the factors necessary for the successful project management. Topics include project management concepts, needs identification, the project manager, teams, project organizations, project communications, project planning, scheduling, control and associated costs. Project management software tools will be an integral part of the course. This course provides an overview of the basic concepts of decision theory and their applications on the real-world decision problems. Students will learn about the problem identification and modeling, the modeling and estimation of the associated uncertainty, and modeling and evaluation of the utility function.
