To understand the operation principle and to develop special chemical function, it is necessary to have knowledge of general chemistry, organic chemistry, polymer chemistry and coatings. This course aims at teaching key chemical concepts, introduces chemical theories related to chemicals used in vehicles, further links to actual cases that students will encounter on the scene, and explains the chemical reaction phenomena observed.
