| Description
| This course provides an overview of the fundamental principles, properties, and applications of various materials, including metals, ceramics, polymers, and composites. Topics covered encompass crystal structures and defects, atomic diffusion in solids, phase diagrams and transformations, materials processing and applications, physical properties (optical, electrical, magnetic, and thermal), mechanical properties (strength, ductility, hardness, toughness, fatigue, and creep), as well as mechanisms and methods for material strengthening.
