Description This course aims to provide students with multiple perspectives to understand and master the fundamental concepts, principles, and methods of systems engineering, so as to understand and analyze the problems and challenges in systems engineering. Through learning systems thinking and system methodology, students will gain basic skills in system analysis and design, as well as the ability to deal with complexity and uncertainty in systems engineering. The course covers topics such as systems thinking, system methodology, system hierarchy, system modeling, system simulation, and system optimization. The course will also introduce topics such as application fields of systems engineering, ethics in systems engineering, and future trends in systems engineering, in order to broaden students' horizons and ways of thinking.
